The most important thing I have learned over the years is the difference between taking one's work seriously and taking one's self seriously. The first is imperative, and the second disastrous.

Rick Russell
Design Director
Rick designs with amazing skill. He has been recognized for his creative talent since his fifth grade gifted arts program, which culminated in a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art from Illinois State University. Before joining Spinorb, Rick spent ten years doing prepress and design work in Chicago. Known for his incredible aesthetic tastes, Rick can both develop client identity and revise existing design. Rick is constantly improving his designer's eye. He has created everything from business cards to logos, ads, brochures, and posters. Whether working with individuals or large brand-focused corporate clients, Rick creates high quality designs. He works exceptionally quickly, yet each detail is always professional and perfect.

Rick spends most of his time on his greatest masterpiece: his two kids. When there is time left, he keeps up to date on technology, specifically computer and entertainment systems. He is a shopping maven, so if you want a good deal from a knowledgeable source, ask away. Rick loves to listen to records (yes, the vinyl ones). He collects mid-century modern furniture.
