If you think you can, you can. And if you think you can't, you're right.

~Mary Kay Ash

Process

All projects, large and small, evolve through a similar process. The degree of detail involved may differ. Here are the steps we go through with all of our projects: consultation, brainstorm, options, selection, development, approval, release.

Consultation

Incredibly important, this step allows us to find out what you are looking to do, what values play a role in the project, and get a deep understanding of what you want, why you want it, and how you want it to look. We create a team environment where we can communicate expectations.

Brainstorm

This is lots of fun. You generate ideas. We generate ideas. We both look at examples of what you like and why, and then we mix them up into a wild soup of wishes, and pour out options, recombinations, and innovations.

Options

Having agreed on some ideas, we create mock-ups to choose from. You shop from the options.

Selection

Select the option you want to go with. We work together to clearly define all aspects. You may feel like you have something, but wonder why we got so serious suddenly. Time to dot i's, cross t's, and check our connections. We switch into left brain mode.

Development

Together we created many paths, you choose one, now we follow it with strong commitment. We create a finished product.

Approval

Approve the finished product (or not). If not, then retrace steps. If so, we do the final transfer to file, to printer, to web server.

Release

Once the data is transferred, the project is released into the world. Simultaneously--or nearly so--we wrap it up on our end. We often diagnose a project--what worked, what didn't? How closely did it meet your needs and wishes? Where do we go from here?
